Dr. Tse is always gracious and takes time to explain results. His staff is attentive and always do their best to get me an appointment that is convenient for my work schedule. I am middle aged and fit with great blood pressure and cholesterol and he listened to my symptoms, ran one appropriate test at a time and diagnosed me. He didn't dismiss my symptoms as anxiety or anything else, though he considered everything.

Saw the PA. In short she said my husband needs to consider bariatric surgery to lose weight. He expressed his wants to succeed on his own and has taken steps this year to do so. (Yes we are only in the beginning of the year so he needs more time). What got me was they wanted to schedule tests which of course I understood. What got me was them telling us they aren’t able to do all the reviewing of the tests in one appointment. They claimed insurance won’t pay for multiple test results in one visit. I called our insurance and they said that is nottrue. I went into the practice and talked with the front desk lady. I asked again why we can’t have all the tests reviewed at one appointment and she said the same thing. I told her that is false and I called our insurance and they prefer it in one

I tried for 6 months to get an appt. Each set apt I was called a week or just a day in advance to have my apt rescheduled. By the time I was seen SIX months later I waited 4 hours past my appointment time. I explained to the staff several times I needed to leave in order to be home when my son came off the bus and we lived 30 minutes away. She continued to explain a few times just a few more moments. When I FINALLY got to see the doctor he was very short with me and seemingly made assumptions based on my age and appearance nothing was wrong. On the positive side: short wait in the lobby, quick-moving assistants, no referral from primary physician required. HOWEVER, the assistant told me right away I would see the P.A. not the cardiologist and she said: the P.A. had only little time. Wow, for my co-pay to see a specialist I will see a P.A. who has little time… The next day at the diagnostics lab I find out that the assistant/P.A./receptionist had forgotten to fax the order form for drawing blood to the lab. I waited for the fax 1.5 hours – then on the first faxed order form they forgot to indicate the diagnosis in a required box. In the second faxed order form with the diagnosis in the required box they changed the test parameters for the blood draw. How do I know this? Hello To All. I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Tse. He saved my life when I was in a process of having heart attack and helped me to see my children grow up... Youngest was two at the time in September of 2014. I learned later that I encountered widow maker blockage of 95% and by his actions at Onslow Memorial Hospital I had less than 1% heart muscle damage. Thank You Dr. Tse and Best Wishes.
