Anderson Regional Medical Center- Emergency Room

I honestly want to give them a 0 because I been waiting since 230 this afternoon in waiting room to get in the back and I never did get back there. If u don't want to die don't go to this hospital.they are garbage

If I could have put zero stars I would. My fiancé had his same-day surgery done this morning to get his gallbladder removed. He’s been throwing up all day since he had the surgery. The nurse that he had was very respectful and told us why he could be possibly vomiting. Not long ago, he was vomiting, and one of his incisions popped open. I called the hospital he had surgery at and told this rude nurse about it. She said, “What do you want us to do about it?” She was very rude by saying it, telling me we’re not the ones who you should be calling about this. Now we are at our local hospital seeing what they can do about it. This was my first experience being talked to that way by a nurse at this hospital. I will never, nor will my fiancé, go there again.

Went to the emergency room due to chest pains. Was admitted for more testing and to see a cardiologist the following morning. Just to find out there’s was no major issue. Which the er doctors knew and just wanted me to stay over night. Cardiologist did a quick visit and ensured everything was good. Discharge procedure is the worst seem like there just wanting to keep me longer for a payout. Seen the cardiologist at 7:30 and it’s 11 am now and still waiting. Worst experience at Anderson ever. Truly a shame we have a hospital that just want to drain your insurance and rush someone out if they don’t have insurance. The nurses just are on their own time on the second floor. True term for is just sorry and lazy.After all this still don’t know the cause of my pain, I was having.

They refused to give antibiotics for a late night dental emergency. Dentist says I should sue. My fiancée came in with BP over 200/100, and they told her it was a waste of time to visit. She was at 190 yesterday and refused to go back to any ER.

I was out of state, passing through, and needed to stop in. Lady who worked in guest services beside admissions was extremely nice but that admission desk seemed uninterested. Played on their phones most of the time. I had to wait 6 hours to be seen. People came in after me and left before me. A doctor finally saw me for 1 minute and rushed back out. Never saw him again! My nurse was more helpful than him. This hospital does not take mental health seriously. They will put you at the end of the line and let you suffer.
