America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My experience was definitely not like my visit 2 years ago. The new staff wasn't as thorough when initially picking out and ordering my glasses. Upon picking up my first set this past Saturday I was equally frustrated and disappointed. The store opened at 9am, I went at 11am all of the lights weren't on. There were 3 staff members there one was assisting another customer, and another was keeping her company; one even commented that the didn't turn all of the lights on. They just seemed to be hanging out casually doing their job. Upon getting my glasses, no one attempted to see how they fit or anything. They definitely have new staff since I stopped working there. Sad to say they are NOT friendly and NOT knowledgeable. Selena does not need to be upfront greeting customers. She has a horrible attitude and talks down her coworkers (Taylor) in front of customers. I was about to be charged for a service I didn’t ask for nor did they tell me it was extra. When I asked Selena why I was being charged she gave me an excuse she thought I would fall for but I’ve been an optician for years before moving to another line of work. Which gave me the idea of the staff wanting to get over on people. Dr. Mayberry was excellent and very professional and polite. The techs were nice as well but Selena needs to be more careful of who she talks to because you never know who knows more than you. After I pick up

I already have a prescription I got from my eye doctor so I called to ask about their prices & what they had available as far as frame brands. WOW! Selena knew everything! She asked such detailed questions to find out exactly what I would like & made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. Americas Best is getting all the top designer brands! Glad I called! I'll be asking for Selena for sure!

I had a wonderful experience with America's Best associates Kelsey, Izzy, and another associate whose name I can't quite remember. They were all incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist me. The associate who helped me was very kind and insisted I come in right before my class to fix my daughter's glasses. They provided quick and friendly service, making the entire process stress-free. I truly appreciate their dedication and kindness. Highly recommend!

I didn't even realize we had an America's Best in Pell City! Glad I was shopping at Hobby Lobby or I may have missed them. I poked my head in & was greeted with the most enthusiastic welcome by Celina. I can already tell my 1st exam is going to be awesome! That staff is the best!
