Amberwood Health + Rehabilitation

The facility is clean, staff are helpful and attentive. Admitted 3 weeks for sub-acute rehab. Mom progressed and enjoyed her time here. Thanks Amberwood!

My husband James Tyree was at Amberwood about a month. The Staff & Management were very kind and very knowable. We definitely have no complaints. The therapy that he received was very good & they had him walking with a walker & much stronger than when he arrived. I would definitely recommend this facility.

Hello my name is Virginia S. This is a wonderful facility. The atmosphere is very caring, loving and friendly. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Their communication style is awesome. The facility is beautiful inside and out. My family and I are so grateful and thankful that our mother was referred to this facility.

In this field of medicinal care, combined with today's challenging employment issues, it will always be difficult to maintain the type of staff, facilities similar in nature attempt to hire. I feel this place has some good natured staff, and was very happy for the care, my relative received. However, I hope that the administrators for these places, that have some staff, that ignore patients in pain, and use their positional ego to puff their nose in the air, while loved ones suffer, remember this horrible cause of suffrage, and note it in their employment records to prevent future suffering. My God Bless those, who have the compassion for those who can't help themselves.

I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this facility. If you have loved ones there for rehab, I suggest you stay 24-7 or at least visit daily and follow up on care. The CNA mom had was wonderful and took such good care of her. The nurses (when you could find one) acted bothered by the one question I had a day and never had an answer or bothered to follow up. Currently in the er with mom because of an infection they never treated. RUN FAR AWAY!!!
