Allisonville Dental Centre has felt like my second home! I transitioned into the care of Dr. Major-Banks and Mr. Banks after receiving a large unexpected bill for dental services as a young adult. I was completely blindsided by this bill while working on my first full-time job. Because of this, I knew I needed a dentist that was able to clearly and directly explain procedures that would be necessary for my oral health, associated costs, along with patience and compassion to create a personalized care plan for me. The owner at this location was extremely rude because it’s taken them over a week to verify my insurance and when I tell him I located other dentist that’s found my insurance and can get me in . He gonna say we’ll go to them … then I called to speak with the office manager he says I’m him and I said well who’s over you he gonna say I’m the owner .. idk if he is or not but he was rude as hell and I wouldn’t chose this office if it was the last one on earth . I have heard WONDERFUL things about Allisonville Dental Centre and Dr. Banks and her husband Terry. Mainly regarding their care and treatment of elderly patients. Too many times this demographic is disrespected, invalidated, and given sub-par care & treatment. Dr. BANKS and staff have been giving excellent comprehensive care and compassion to not just their patients of a certain generation but ALL of their patients. They are a model of what exceptional medical care should be but also of what exceptional members of a community should be! I had been going to the same dentist office my whole life. After being in the area for a couple of years, I decided it was time to find a new one so that I didn't have to continue driving home for appointments. I found Allisonville Dental Center through an online search and using my insurance company's website. My first appointment was in July 2022 and things were fine for the first couple things I had scheduled. The problems started when I was told I needed a crown in February 2023. I paid a reservation fee on this date to secure my appointment and was told the amount I paid would go towards the full payment for my crown.
