Allen Eye Associates

Everybody needs an optometrist. My wife and I got our annual eye exams today with Dr. Matthew Allen at Allen Eye Associates in Oneida, NY. We’ve get going here for years and the entire team there is always pleasant, caring, and helpful. The exams are detailed and thorough. They have an extensive selection of frames and lens options to meet all our needs. My wife and I take the necessary steps for accurately corrected vision and optimal eye health to live the most sensational lives and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have been going to Amy Wardell for many years now and I have always been very pleased with the process from calling to getting in for an appointment if I have an eye issue of any kind.Amy is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain any issues I am having at time of appointment. The staff from beginning to end is always very pleasant, and helpful. Thank you for the great care over the years.

I have been going to Dr. Matt Allen for several years now. The experience is wonderful from start to finish. There is clear communication during the exam process about what is going on. When picking out my glasses, the staff was very helpful. They asked questions about my preferences and with that information, helped me narrow down the choices so it wasn’t overwhelming. My appointments have always been on time and I am able to get in and out in a timely manner.

I couldn't believe how friendly and professional the staff are at Allen Eye Associates! Right from the start, the front desk was welcoming and the tech that did my pretesting was efficient and very kind. The doctor that I saw, I think his name is Dr. Nelson, was the star of the show. He was so patient and explained things to me in a manner I could understand without ever seeming like he was talking down to me. I could really tell he has a passion for helping people and it shows in his work. After finishing up with the doctor, I picked out some glasses in their optical boutique and I'm so thankful for their helpful opticians. Update - I was promised a return call once they started setting appointments again but never got one. I found another provider. I originally gave 1 star because I had been having issues getting in for an appointment, and was pretty disappointed in different areas, including a couple of which they don't really have control over. After speaking to Dr Allen, I am very impressed that he cared enough to call and try to make it right, I have changed my review to a 4. In this day when customer service goes out the window, it's nice to know when some businesses want to keep their customers.
