My child and I waited outside in the cold for 15 minutes for the building to open. Nobody else was there. 10 minutes after we got there and filled out our information another patient showed up. That patient was called before my son even tho we were there 20-25 minutes before her. When I asked why she was called first the receptionist said it was whoever gets entered into the computer first. There was no reason my son shouldn’t haven been entered first in the time we were waiting. There was new new information to be entered, we had been seen at this location many times. The receptionist was too busy chitchatting with her co worker to enter my son’s information. Apparently the other co worker was able to multitask enough to enter her patient into the computer with 10-15 minutes less time the

Update: This clinic lied on their billing codes, claiming that they spent 45 min of face to face time with me for a moderate concern issue which requires an actual 45 minutes of face to face time including face time with a Supervising MD. I was seen by a certified PA for maximum of 5 min and absolutely at no time did a qualified supervising MD come into the room. That means I was charged $500 for what should legally have been billed as a $60-100 intake. I sent a basic email requesting an official response on: Each procedure code (CPT/HCPCS) Date of service Provider name Charges and adjustments Insurance payments and patient responsibility To the billing contacts listed on their website. It’s been several weeks reaching out to official contacts with each saying “I’m not the right person,

We were in the area for a wedding and brought my daughter for an ear infection. We were frustrated to see that the PA up-coded our daughter's simple sick visit to a "moderate complexity" visit which resulted in an extra ~100$ being billed to insurance and falling onto our family. PA spent less than 5 minutes with us as this was a routine medical concern that we normally would have brought her to her pediatrician for. I appealed the coding but was declined by Albany Med without explanation. Disappointed that this Urgent Care would support overcharging patients in this way.

I was seen by Felicia Rogers and she was excellent. She was efficient, her diagnosis was spot on, and her explanations were thorough and comprehensive. Her bedside manner was welcoming and pleasant. The staff in total, were professional and courteous. My wait was long, however, a staff member came to the room I was in to check on me, apologized for the delay, explained something out of their control happened, and made it clear they valued my time. Things happen, and the fact that they took time to recognize the delay made a big difference. Not that I minded, I got some quiet time to read my book.
