I took my nine year old son to the urgent care for fever of 4 days and nasty cough. The receptionist told me it would be an hour wait. I had to pick my daughter up from school at that time and asked if I could make a same day appointment. She was dismissive and told me that I had to do that on a my chart app that I did not have. I asked why I couldn't do it there at the receptionist desk. She answered by saying it's because he has never been seen before. I asked why that matters and she couldn't answer me. After about five minutes of this, I was under the impression that the receptionist just didn't want to input any data. She acted like she didn't care and told me that I should just bring him back later. I said forget it, called up Ohio Health on 4th st, asked to make a same day appointme

We came for my infant son who had a high fever with other symptoms. Their computers were down but they were still able to check us in and get us back in a good time. Carol Reece was out dr (wish I could remembers nurse name) but they were both wonderful especially Ms. Reece. She answered our questions first before leaving the room then came back in and made sure we didn’t have more. She made me feel calm and explained everything so nicely. I’ll definitely bring my kiddos back.

I went to the urgent care on Thursday night as a type one diabetic due to a fever the prior day. I sat for three and a half hours in total to be told my mother and I aren’t educated in diabetes. I have had diabetes since 14 years old and my grandmother died from being in DKA and she also had diabetes since she was 14 years old. Both of the “nurses” that helped “care” for me were not educated in type one diabetes. They did not know how to pronounce dexcom, and were not familiar with any of my medical devices that are commonly used. Don't bring your kids here! My daughter had a cough that wouldn't go away so I brought her here. They did xrays, breathing treatments and told me it was either walking pneumonia or asthma. Gave her prescriptions for an inhaler and antibiotics and charged me $1400. Her cough still didn't go away. So $1400 plus prescriptions and my daughter was no better than when I brought her there that morning. Took her to another doctor. He figured out it was an allergy to cats and a simple over the counter allergy pill would do the trick. Allergy pills worked like a charm. Highly do not not recommend! They move way to quickly to know exactly what is going on with a precious child & it's clear they want off work on time the goal is to get you out the door in mins. They were with my granddaughter for maybe 5 mins said she had fever breathing to monitor & bring her back if worse. She was grunting with each breath & felt miserable. As an RN & mom RTT we knew something wasn't right. We were not happy with what they had to say so we drove straight to Avita ED where they were absolutely amazing! I recommend 10/10!!! They ran some test. She was dehydrated, has bronchitis & a UTI. I'm glad we didn't settle for just monitoring our sweet girl! We had her evaluated & treated now she is home resting!!!
