AHF Healthcare Center - Hell's Kitchen

Horrible . Both Melinda brown and ORIN DOUGLAS, MD stood me up. I had appointments with both of them, the appointments just completely vanished online as if they were never there . I called for help, lady acted like I never had appointments to begin with . Like 3 times at least these clowns have messed up my appointments. Just horrible

DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT AFTER LUNCH!!!! You have been warned!!!! The staff is not friendly at all. If you come during or after lunch, you will NOT be received well at all. Try to book a morning appt or a late afternoon appt!!!! Try to strike up a conversation with the staff while they are at lunch and you will get all kinds of dirty looks and shade thrown at you. This is my second visit and I thought it would be different. I like the attention from Dr. Douglas. He really looks deep into your health history which is essential for the best care. The lab department could use some improvement. The lab tech is kind but be ready for a little pain from her needle stick. -2 stars for the front desk staff, -1 star for the lab services. I’m considering going somewhere else after only two visits b

This place is the best. The entire staff, from receptionists to nurses and doctors are incredibly friendly. I always have a blast when I make appointments at this facility!! Keep doing a great job. Xx

I truly appreciate AHF and all they do. That being said… The fact I can’t get prescriptions refilled for sometimes weeks at a time, at the AHF pharmacy is utterly ridiculous. It’s always finger pointing between the pharmacist and the doctor. “It wasn’t sent in” “it wasn’t requested by the doctor” “the pharmacy never requested it” They are great to have if you need them, but if you’re actually looking for primary care, this isn’t the vibe.

Came for regular testing, Everyone is friendly and helpful, slightly longer wait time which is okay considering my regular clinic walk in’s spots were full.
