AFC Urgent Care North Springfield

It doesn’t allow you to give a 0, but I had the worst experience here. As you can see from the sign, it clearly stated that appointments weren’t needed. However, the manager, Erica, refused to let me get my insurance out and stopped me. She informed me that they weren’t accepting new patients, even though the clinic had at least four people waiting in the waiting room. My question to her is, do you see anything outside the door that indicates they’re not accepting new patients for the rest of the day? No, when I tried to speak with someone else, she didn’t. want it. She treated me horrible this was my first impression of this place. I do not recommend don’t waste your time here.

My daughter’s piercing became embedded, so I took her in as a walk-in. They were able to remove the piercing without any issues. The staff were caring, patient, and very attentive. We were only there for about 30 minutes, and the experience was quick and reassuring. I highly recommend.

Overall Staff was friendly & attentive to my need. Was attended in a good timely manner, no long waiting time. Great job. I would recommend this facility & provider. I HIGHLY recommend you schedule appt online, you will be attended quickly & you do not have to wait long.

Went here for my son who had an skin infection from wrestling and needed to get cleared to participate in a meet. The PA asked if he wanted to play, and signed his paper to compete without fully looking at him and said he'd mark it as acne. When reading the paper he signed later, he blatantly didn't meet the criteria to compete and he actually DID have something contagious. He went to shower after the appointment and it was all over his head, not just the hairline that we saw originally. Since we went late at night, they were closed by the time he showered, so I called first thing in the morning to see about a prescription. I personally kept him from competing because that is beyond wrong, and unsafe for the other kids. The office insisted on a second visit and second paymen

TI got un right away, and the cared about what your oroblem aas and took care of you. Didn't have to wait along times and no run around. Thet actually cared what was wrong with you and took care of it They were very professional and very friendly to talk to. Would go again and I would highly recommend .
