AFC Urgent Care Louisville

This is where our family goes everytime we need to be seen that day. Our Doctors office sometimes are 2 weeks out for booking, which sucks when you need to be seen right away. Everyone there is so great. If you sign up online and get your paperwork done beforehand, it’s very quick in and out. They always call to check in on you after your visit and go above and beyond with meds that help your symptoms. Such a great local urgent care. A one stop shop to feeling better.

We had decent experiences in the past, but the last couple of times the wait times have been really long. The confirmation email with our time stated: “Check in 10-15 minutes early. The clinic will do their best to see you on time, but there may be a short wait depending on more urgent cases.” Today, even after doing the Online check-in for specific time, we waited an hour and 20 minutes to see a nurse practitioner. After doing tests, we left and nobody called us back with the results (as they said they would). We had to call them. Really disappointed in the lack of staffing and wait times. The online system clearly doesn’t work & no one seemed to care.

For non - urgent care needs advertised on their site - total scam. They don’t take insurance for their annual physicals (something that most insurance plans fully cover) and will charge for a “pre-op” physical (while giving a children’s sports physical) plus double the cost of labs (I was quoted twice what labcorp and quest charge for basic lipid and comprehensive metabolic labs). I’m still waiting for a refund for a 285$ charge, for a Children’s Sports Physical, and two labs that were never drawn. The people who work there are super nice and I’m sure for urgent care they’re great. But it’s a franchise and the web advertised services are a scam. Go elsewhere

I had flu-like symptoms for five days and finally decided to visit urgent care. I didn’t call ahead. I just walked in without an appointment and didn’t even think twice about where to go. I was seen within 15 minutes, which I really appreciated. The staff at the Louisville location are always friendly and welcoming, and the doctors are knowledgeable, kind, and truly caring toward their patients. Thank you for your hard work and patience!

All of the staff here are very kind and accommodating. From the gal at the front desk, the EMT who checked my vitals and gave me IV fluids to the NP who assessed me, everyone was really enjoyable to work with, even considering I was not feeling the best coming in. They were compassionate regarding my chronic health condition and that means a lot to me when I've been places where it has been disregarded or minimized. I always come to this urgent care and will continue to do so.
