AFC Urgent Care Hartsdale

Scheduled an appt on Solv for 11:30am but arrived early and checked in at 11:05am. Saw they only had one booking before me so instead of waiting in my car, I went in and they confirmed they can see me earlier. Took care of the copay beforehand and was seated in the exam room and seen by the doctor in five minutes. The doctor and staff were all so friendly. Probably the most pleasant urgent care visit I’ve had.

Came in with a very swollen, inflamed pus filled finger asked for I &d, practitioner looked at digit for 2 minutes , did not do procedure, prescribed low grade abx which had no effect .ended up having surgical procedure at hospital. Very disappointed in such lack of attention to detail despite pt providing detailed history., not to mention the fact that the office was empty and he would have had plenty of time to clean, soak, and attempt to incise infected area. 200$ for 2 minutes and a script that did nothing.

I love visiting afc urgent care in Hartsdale. The service is friendly, very skilled care and Dr Drago is patient and listens to his patients to get the best diagnosis possible. Thank you for you support and care.

I have used this urgent care in the past and it was a pleasant experience. Today, I was short on time so I made an appt early in the morning, because my expectation is if I am taking time to make an appointment and fill out forms online I would have an appointment at or within, let's say, a half hour of the scheduled time. After I waited for over half hour I went up to the desk to ask about being seen and I was told appointments are basically just a suggestion but it is still first come, first serve and after waiting a half hour there was still 4 people ahead of me. I understand you are expected to wait at an urgent care, but don't have appointments available, it makes no sense, it's misleading and upsetting. I ended up leaving.
