AFC Urgent Care Frazer/Malvern

Julie the NP was absolutely amazing. My pcp misdiagnosed me and brushed it off as a cold. Julie ran tests and correctly diagnosed me and within a week I was feeling better. Even being pregnant she reassured me everything was safe. I will never go to a different walk in. Highly recommend as they are caring, compassionate and listen to your concerns.

Highly recommend AFC in Malvern/Frazer! Easy registration... fast service and AMAZING staff. Ashley at front desk is very friendly and has fantastic customer-service skills. She politely explained how I should register online and promised to run my insurance to verify coverage. She did what she promised... called me back less than 5 minutes later! Diana did my "intake" and all my x-rays. She was extremely friendly and personable and explained everything clearly. Wendy was amazing. She took over after the x-rays. Explained everything clearly. Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and "real." Her honest opinion and advice was just what I needed and she presented options for going forward (gave me a "get out of work" note to use in case I need it!)

The doctor that examined me wasn’t too bad, she was friendly and upbeat. She did listen to my concerns. However, I still don’t like some questions or assumptions she made pertaining my personal situation because it came off inconsiderate and disregarding. The energy of my initial intake, from the assistants I absolutely didn’t like! For one, I felt like the assistant that took my vitals didn’t even want to be near me. The interaction came off judgmental and standoffish to the point where I spoke up about the situation and she didn’t even apologize or take any accountability. Even after trying to express and explain myself to the assistant manager, I still felt unseen and unheard. Overall, coming here was a complete waste of my time and energy. Yesterday was my second or third visit to Urgent Care in Frazer and each time all of the staff and medical personnel have been so nice, helpful and pleasant. It makes a somewhat stressful situation much easier to tolerate. I would definitely recommend this office to others.

This was my second time here and it was not a great experience. The technician at the front was not helpful and certainly not very kind. I had some confusion with the online paperwork. There was no other patient being seen in the office and I finally asked if there was anything else I needed to do to be seen. She proceeds to tell me that I haven’t done all my paperwork which I didn’t realize I had to do. I thought I was waiting for paper forms. She got an attitude and made me feel very uncomfortable. Other people from the back came to intervene and I thought it was unnecessary that it took that to just be treated kindly. I also felt like I was not valued as a patient. It’s unfortunate because my first time was a different situation, but I won’t return.
