AFC Urgent Care Danbury West

A welcoming environment, thanks to the front desk professional, Jackie. She was very friendly and greeted me in such a way that I wish all front desk staff would do the same. The wait was not long. I was warmly greeted by the medical assistant as well. The care and attention provided by Dr. Duke were exceptional. I had questions later in the day about the prescribed medications. Dr. Duke answered my call and addressed my questions and concerns. Thank you to everyone I met during this visit.

This Facility was wonderful. Staff was pleasant as I came after hours near closing. Front desk and medical Asst. was very professional and accommodating. The provider on duty was very informative and thorough. So thankful they made my appt relaxing. They really deserve more than the 5 stars. Thank you for the wonderful experience.!

It was easy to schedule my son’s appointment and he was seen fairly quick after we arrived. The PA who saw us was very friendly and attentive, and answered all my questions, no complaint about him. My only complaint is about the medical assistant or nurse, (not sure but she was the one doing the vital signs) when Asked by the PA to do an anal temperature check on my son ( who’s 13 months old) her answer was: “ Hell no! I never even checked my kids temperature like that, I’m not sticking nothing into nobody’s but” then someone else took over and checked my son’s temperature. I can’t even begin to say how unprofessional that was. No bedside manner whatsoever!

While I have had less than mediocre visits at this Urgent Care, I have to say this one was incredible. I felt listened to, genuinely cared about, and that the nurse and doctor really went above and beyond. Restored my faith in this practice.

I went there as soon as they opened because I have a painful rash growing on my legs, my left leg is completely numb and I have foot pain when walking. After waiting in the office, the doctor came into the room in a mad rush. She said good morning to quickly, before even being fully in the doorway. She seemed overwhelmed and seemingly had no time for me. I showed her the rash on my leg and within seconds without even really looking at it, she told me I have psoriasis and basically told me nothing they can do. She told me to call my regular doctor. She was talking very quickly and seemed like she just wanted our visit over with asap. She said she would try to get me a script for black tar cream but it’ll probably not work because she’s not my general physician. she also said to me “we co
