AFC Urgent Care Danbury

By far the worst urgent care experience I’ve ever had. After being taken into the examination room, we had to wait for a full hour despite there being nobody in front of us in the waiting room. We asked them multiple times and they told us a doctor would be right in and it took much longer than expected. Afterwards, they stated that they would be sending the prescription over electronically and the pharmacy never received it, when we called back to have it sent over they told us we would have to wait an hour. When we went and tried to get the physical copy, they also told us we would have to wait. There is nothing urgent about the care that you will receive at this location. The provider himself was absolutely wonderful, very friendly very cordial and honestly, he made the visit worth it

Did not get a chance to be seen. Waited an hour before being brought back ( i was a walk in so understandable) Waited another 40 minutes and still didnt see the doctor. I had to leave to get my children from school. I never got to see the doctor but got a "tanks for visiting, how did we do" email while I was still waiting to be seen.

I called in and spoke to Megan a couple of weeks ago. She was incredible! Im sorry I was afraid to submit a review, but i feel it is my duty to let you know she was so kind to me despite my serious speech impediment. I am always so nervous whenever I have to make phone calls for myself but she really went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and safe. I really struggle with a serious stutter and anxiety but she went out of her way to let me know it was OK and to take my time so now i feel like i am ready to do it again. Ive never felt so comfortable and confident in my entire life talking to someone on the phone. I hope you all know how lucky you are to have such an inspiration working for you. She is a true ray of sunshine and im very thankful for her help!!! 5 STARS!!!

Been here twice, both the WORST experience I’ve ever had at an Urgent Care. First time, I waited 20 mins past my appointment before I got to an exam room, despite being the only person in the waiting room. When I got into the exam room I waited another hour for the doctor, and when I politely asked how much longer I would be waiting, I was snapped at by the staff. Second time, I came in with an appointment, and they said that they had no idea how long of a wait it would be. One receptionist was kind and understanding, the other was incredibly passive aggressive and rude. Legitimately have never been in a more hostile doctor’s office. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time and then I left because they couldn’t tell me how long my wait would be or how many people were ahead of me. I u

I have been to them many times. I’ve never had any problems. The doctor they have there is wonderful, but I did not see him tonight. Tonight my visit was very different, I was in severe pain. The physician assistant told me there was nothing she could do and the prescription she wanted to call in for me wasn’t in their system so she couldn’t do it. She said if it got really bad go to the hospital, basically they took my money and gave me no service. I will not be going back and I will be sharing my experience with many people.
