AFC Urgent Care Chattanooga

Excellent all around visit from office staff answering phone and assisting with questions, to checking in, being seen by staff and NP, to check out.  NP Kennedy was amazing! Very professional , took her time with my grandchild, was very kind, made my grandchild feel at ease, listened to my concerns, and took excellent care of the needs. No wait time. Staff were polite, friendly, and genuine. Great experience!

I booked my AFC appointment online Saturday evening, for Sunday Morning. I uploaded all insurance and Identity information seamlessly and had no problems with check-in the following day. I was there when the doors opened, greeted nicely by the front desk staff, and was the first person seen. The waiting area was spotless and decorated warmly for the holidays. The Nurses assistant was kind as she took my vitals and the NP, Janine Kennedy, came in shortly after. She was personable, kind and I felt heard and seen. She had wonderful bed side manner and dare I say, a sense of humor! I never once felt like I had to convince her I was sick and wasn't given the "it's just a virus" spiel I usually get at the Erlanger walk-in clinic a block down. The front staff was very polite and willing to send me the paperwork when the checkin computer was down. The nurse was a bit standoffish and the overall time in office was 2 hours. But Doctor Kennedy was amazing. Apologetic about my wait when I was feeling ill. She truly made the visit worth it.

The professionals at this clinic were not only extremely knowledgeable and helpful, but they showed me extreme kindness. I was also treated in a timely manner, which I have found to be rare at an Urgent Care clinic. I will make sure that not only myself, but also my family, only go to this clinic when we need urgent care. Thank you so much for your friendliness and professionalism.

The AFC staff was brilliant! I was greeted with a smile at check-in and taken back pretty quickly. Staff was patient and helpful, explaining everything as they went. I think my care tech’s name was Cheri. My provider, Jan, was exceptional! She was warm, professional and attentive! She engaged me in decision making and made sure I was comfortable with the plan of care. The entire visit exemplified Service Excellence! Nice care model.
