Adventist Health Castle Urgent Care Pearl City

I’m leaving this review to warn other patients of Nurse Practitioner Brianna Sortland. I came in at 1:00 PM because I have been sick for a few days and needed a doctor’s note in order to return to work. Upon my arrival, I was checked in and the front desk staff was lovely. One of the staff members took my vitals and performed a swab for a flu/COVID test, and that portion of the visit was handled professionally. However, by the time 2:00 PM arrived, I was only then being walked to an exam room to be seen. At that point, I knew I needed to leave around 2:30 PM for another appointment. Because of this time constraint, I politely asked Brianna Sortland if it would be possible for me to leave by 2:30 PM and perhaps come back later or after my other appointment to be seen and retrieve my doctor’

Saw the good rating and thought we’d give it a try since the standard can vary for urgent care. Plus we were desperate to get answers for our sick one. Signed up for a 9:30a appt and filled out the registration online. Arrived at 9:33 due to traffic and apologized. The portal still said we were 2nd in line and estimate wait time was 0-15min when we arrived. Nothing was said in person when we checked in at the front desk about the wait time being longer than expected or anything, just were told to have a seat and that we were checked in. We were called back finally by 10:45a and put in a room saying we would have to wait for an exam room to open. Mind you we have a busy, sick toddler and have been waiting longer than what the que said. Not sure why the portal to check in and book an appt is

Phenomenal patient care. Jen at front desk was very pleasant and personable. She was compassionate and concerned with my pain. The rest of the staff had an exceptional bedside manner. All the staff I encountered at Adventist Health was pleasant and offered optimal health. Best place to be cared for. I am a very satisfied patient! Oh! And they work proactively too!!!

I havent gone through the billing process yet but everything today was wonderful. The front desk employee was friendly and assisted us quickly. My son was in a lot of pain so I appreciated the speed in which we were helped. The doctor was friendly, reassuring, and quickly diagnosed my son. While it's never fun to need urgent care, our experience wonderful!

My experience with Pearl City Urgent Care was pleasant. The doctor was informative and concerned on my condition. Left me with reassurance and advised breathing excurcise. Thank you for treating me with dignity and respect.
