Rude medical office building in general. Must be on cursed land. The horrid care gets worse with each floor. I live in the apartments next door so I thought this would be so great. Walk to the Doctor, dentist, in my hood. Nope! All have been really bad experiences. I like Dr. Kelly but her desk gals are the worst. Until I got to the third floor with Chrisopher Melkockf. Dentist, a dude. but Those desk gals here top to bottom floors are on their whisky rockers dipping. Crazy bad. Rude. infuriating while giggling. slow. remote. Up speak and vocal fry to say the least. Nickled and dimed like I’ve never been in my life. Forced to come in for a meet and greet with physician in order to schedule an annual physical. Fine, I showed up, they took vitals, I told them I have no health issues to discuss. Then they charged me $250 for an office visit. For a visit they required, not something I wanted or needed! When I called to dispute the charge I had to go through millions of phone trees and then was told to call my insurance instead. Of course insurance didn’t pay for it, it wasn’t a health visit! Nothing happened in the office, why are you charging $250???? Then when I finally got my physical I was charged for a full second office visit because I asked to renew my prescription for a medication I’ve been on for years (a 3 min conversation at a 40 min appt). $50
Had an appointment booked 6 weeks ago and received a text confirming the appointment 4 days prior. Arrived to check in, and they notified me they canceled my appointment. I showed them the text and they said they called the day after the text and canceled because I did not call back (no call was ever made to me after checking my phone history). Their reason was I was not scheduled for the PCP in that office and needed to reschedule for the other office. When I made the appointment, I specifically requested this office for proximity reasons, and no issues were communicated at the time of booking. Trying to call and schedule now with the main line, and I can tell I am a major inconvenience to this provider. Wal-Mart provider, and you won't even get an MD.
Very disappointed with this office. My visit was great and I loved the doctor but upset with the communication between the staff. I reached out the same day and the next day twice to see if a test can be added onto my labs that were sent out which is an easy call to labcorp. Was told they would relay this and call me back, but the lady I spoke with seemed annoyed when I continued to call for a follow up. Nobody reached back out to me to let me know if this could be done and now I have to leave work again to provide another sample. I am quite upset and frustrated with this office and probably won’t be returning. The communication needs some work. Especially with a health facility, patients are concerned and showing there is no compassion for that is frustrating.
I am typically not a patient at this location, but my location was down to one provider, and they were able to schedule me to come to this location last minute. Suzanne and Rachel were absolutely fabulous and, even though I was the last patient of the day, I felt like they were so thorough and truly present to me to help me get what I needed. I imagine being a regular patient here would be a delight. It is too far away from me to become a regular patient, but I am so grateful I was able to get quality care, even if it was last minute.
