AdventHealth Medical Group Gastroenterology at Louisville

The pain management center wanted $1500 out of pocket for a cortisone shot. A cortisone shot is one of the most simple things you could ever get, out of pocket costs should never exceed a few hundred bucks, and I have insurance, so why are they not going through my insurance anyway? It felt like a scam, to be honest, and this is the second time this has happened to me at this place (first was with their Gastroenterology dept). The woman on the phone tried to tell me I had to meet my deductible first. No I absolutely do not, lady. I don't know if they thought I'd be dumb enough to just pay it, or what, but I feel absolutely betrayed by this place and I can't wait to tell everyone I know to never, ever, ever go here.

She listens to you and takes the time necessary to go over all results, make recommendations and ALWAYS ask your opinions & thoughts. Her attention to detail is 2nd to none and her Discovery Questions actually uncover issues or symptoms that make you actually think! She is a true professional & her mindset and knowledge is incredible and she ALWAYS has your health in mind while doing everything to make you better!

Marissa, PA, provides some of the most patient centered care I have ever had the luxury of experiencing as a patient. She was extremely knowledgeable and provided education about my complex medical problems thoughtfully and carefully. I don't think I have ever had a provider make me feel so seen, heard and validated as a patient. I feel my healthcare is in excellent hands with her.
