Advanced Urgent Care | Kaiser Permanente Largo Medical Center

I am currently an oncology patient at Kaiser Largo. I went to the urgent care at Largo on Tuesday night (1/20/26) after calling the advice nurse because I had vomited several times. I probably got there around 10:30pm but wasn't called back to be put in a room until around 2:30am. While it's not ideal that it took so long to be called back, that is not my reason for submitting this review. I had to use the restroom in urgent care a couple of times while waiting. I used 2 of the 3 available restrooms. Both of them had toilet paper holders that made it extremely difficult to get any toilet paper. I could only get one or two sheets at a time. It was very frustrating especially while I was in there vomiting. My other complaint is that the room I was put in was so very cold. The thermostat

I have a good experience here. The environment here is very clean and makes people feel comfortable. There are light yellow floors and walls, and the bathroom is very clean. There are two things that make me feel the most happy and joyful. The first thing is that when I accompanied the patient into the room, the doctor told me that the difference of my waiting time and the surgery time, in a very gentle tone. In addition, when I bought coffee downstairs, the hot chocolate was out of stock after paying. I asked for help at the front desk, and the front desk immediately gave me a very satisfactory solution. I am very satisfied with the response speed and service of this hospital.

Everyone - security guard, receptionist, doctor, nurses, pharmacist- everyone was courteous and friendly. The hospital was clean, calm and orderly and I was especially impressed with how efficient the process was. My son was seen by the triage nurse within a few minutes and was sent for X-rays shortly thereafter. The only reason I didn’t give five stars was that the wait to be seen by the doctor was very long. We were there for 5 hours, most of that time taken up waiting to see the doctor. Other than that, it was a good experience.

I went to this urgent care two weekdays in a row for shingles that started as a bad cluster-type headache. Overall, a great experience with very kind, professional staff, a very clean, modern and large facility and much faster service than expected. On the first visit, I arrived a bit after 8 AM when it was pretty empty, was triaged a bit after 830, taken to a patient room and saw doc in less than an hour. She examined, diagnosed and ordered a CT scan, which wasn’t a long wait. Got CT results, discharge guidance and left ~ 1130 AM. I returned the next day after a video visit diagnosed an emergent rash as shingles, arriving at urgent care a bit after 1230 PM when the waiting area was fairly full. This has been the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! My husband came after having total valve replacement on Dec 19 in medstar complaining of burning pain on lower back. Which was alarming due to his history of Kidney stone. It took 3 hours 30 mins to be seen. Its now 1:09am and we are still here waiting for my husband to get his CT. When I asked the lady not sure if a Nurse just said its guna be a long while we are behind! I never had nothing bad to say about Kaiser. But with this! Change of mind.
