Advanced Dentistry of Citrus County - Homosassa

I just move here and looking for a new dental office and found this dental place. I normally look at the good reviews before I consider which i did. Unfortunately what my experience here made me look at the bad reviews on this dental office . Most of them are happening here. See it to yourself.On the communication barrier because of the dentist and the assistant are having good chat. Sometimes patient not sure if the dentist talking to the patient or the hygienist, I think it’s good to mention the name of the patient when you asking to do something like opening the mouth wide or tap tap , so patient aware and also when greeting patient address the name or face the patient. My time is valuable too.

The staff was extremely nice including the hygienist and the dentist. But the time management was extremely poor. My appointment was at 1 PM and I did not go back into the room to start my exam until 140. I was there for just an initial exam which included multiple x-rays a visit with a hygienist to check my teeth and a visit from the dentist to also check the teeth. I never left the office until 430. This was a shock to me that I was at this appointment for this long. I also received an estimate which is very detailed and I appreciate that for the work that needs to be done on my teeth. I do feel the price of the work to be done is a bit overpriced so I will be getting a second opinion for sure. Kristen is absolutely amazing. They helped me with a great payment plan and continued with great customer service.. I found my dentist and I’m so happy to have FINALLY found an honest dentist in the area. Angel is such a sweetheart, love her joking around and being chipper around everyone. Samantha and DR Vlada did an amazing job with my fillings and making sure I was comfortable. Jennifer is by far one of the best teeth cleaners I’ve ever been to. Such a sweetheart. Front desk ladies also amazing attitudes! I’m glad I found a place finally that treats their patients how they should be treated. I’m beyond happy with my treatment and the amazing people who work here!

Attempted to make a new patent appointment about a year ago but was advised by Advanced the wait would be quite extensive. As such, they referred us to another practice. We were able to get an appointment with that practice. 6 months later we returned for our routine 6 month cleaning. Since Advanced was 25 minutes closer to our house, we immediately called them after we conducted our 6 month cleaning to schedule a new patient appointment and routine cleaning, as time was no longer an issue. Upon being brought back a full set of X-rays were taken, a hygienist conducted an inspection of my gums and then the dentist came in to do the exam. I love advanced dentistry of citrus county. I have been with them for 19 years and will stay there! Kim is the best!!!! The whole staff is beyond nice and truly do everything they can to help you.
