Adult Gastroenterology Associates: Tulsa

My first appointment with Dr. Sutton was great. He was very easy to talk to about all of my issues and was eager to help me. He took time to listen, explain, and even suggested we try a couple of things to help me get to feeling better. I felt very welcome and everyone was very nice.

Always very caring and listen to what I said was going on. Reduced medicines to only one once a day. I was encouraged by the doctor to pay attention to the times I take the medication and note any changes as soon as I noticed any. Made an appointment for follow up in 6 weeks.

Had a follow up appointment at the ascension Saint John adult gastro bartlesville with Kevin McNamara set for a hr waiting while they ate and chatted at the front desk. When I finally got seen. He was rude, quick no care to listen or respect bet i wasn't in there 5 minutes the worst doctor I have ever been to. Thankfully that when I had my procedure done he was not my doctor he was spos to be but something last minute come up and Dr. Volak did my procedure Volak and his staff was amazing. I Will make sure if I have to go back ill be seeing Dr. Volak next time for sure. Would not recommend Dr. McNamara.

Had a follow up appointment with the PA for Dr. Nightengale. He listened to my concerns as well as explained the results of my tests and laid out a plan for my treatment. He was very patient and thorough. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was the wait time to be seen, and then the wait time again to be released with instructions for 1 month follow up appointment.

Suffice to say it doesn’t matter what you have to say as a patient they are going to do as they damn well please. On top of the copious amount of redundancies in paperwork and questions, from the pre screening calls to today’s repeat paperwork. I made it abundantly clear to the woman at the front desk that I would prefer to be the patient who was spoken to about my results, not my husband. She acknowledged that with a yes ok. That clearly didn’t sink in because as soon as I was brought back to the staging area I was then asked again if I wanted my husband to be communicated to and then heckled about it. Why is a polite no, no thank you just completely disregarded? At this point I gave up and said do whatever you want, you’re going to anyway. The next alarming part was me being told I can w
