He's my hero. In the early 80s, my surfboard cut my foot. Ended up in a hospital but had to flee.I I woke up with flies buzzing me and an open container of dirty dressing at the foot of the bed. Went to another hospital when the first doc gave me gangrene. He saved me while hurricane Gloria was roaring off the coast. I was his "First presentation on difficult wound treatment."
