I have greatly enjoyed and benefited from my time with Dr. Lombardo at Academy PT. He helped me overcome a series of running-related injuries by providing a clear path forward and a series of strength objectives that I worked towards before it was safe to run again. This was helpful in managing the uncertainty around my injury. He then provided a custom return to running plan, which was dynamic based on my feedback on how the runs were feeling. With his guidance, I was able to complete a post-injury half marathon 5 minutes faster than my goal! I could not have done it without Dr Lombardo’s valuable feedback and encouragement. I broke my shoulder in 2022 and began treatment with Dr. Guy Lombardo almost immediately. I was extremely nervous about moving my arm the wrong way and quite concerned that I would not regain my mobility. Dr. Lombardo not only helped me build back my confidence, he is the reason I made a full recovery after a serious fracture. I was able to avoid surgery, and my doctor at Langone was thrilled with my progress.
