Absolut Care of Aurora Park

Worst nursing home my wife has ever been too! Nurses were good! Some aides need to find another job! Dialysis nurse was excellent! Food always cold tray was placed out of reach! Wounds weren’t cared for reason for herMERCA! Would never refer this place to any enemies!They caused my wife’s death!

My mom was recently there for rehab. She’s 93 years old but alert, oriented, and follows her therapy instructions to the letter. All the therapy staff treated her with respect and she couldn’t wait for her sessions every day because she enjoyed it so much. I have to give a huge shout out to Ashley O , Kayla, Shannon, and Karen as well as her aide AC and the greatest social worker ever, Jackie ! Mom did not want to be in rehab but she admits it was very good for her. She got home in under a week and is doing well thanks to everything she learned at Aurora Park Rehab. Thank you everyone. We will always remember you all fondly. You all advocated for Mom and went above and beyond for us.

My father, Thomas, just discharged from subacute rehab at Absolut of Aurora Park a couple days ago. I'm giving a 5 star review for the following reasons: the nursing care at the facility was excellent, the aides and other staff were all very attentive to of my father's needs (and he was not an easy patient by any means), everyone was exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful, and the rehab staff were equally as wonderful as everyone else and focused on my father's specific needs so he could return home safely and in a timely manner. In comparison, about a year ago, my father was at a supposedly "excellent" rehab facility in Clarence, the care there was awful and I would never recommend it to anyone however, I would not hesitate to recommend Absolut to others. The care and compassion at the Memory Care Unit at Absolut Care of Aurora Park are truly extraordinary. From the moment my mother arrived, the staff treated her with such tenderness and dignity. Every nurse, CNA, caregiver, and staff member we encountered were not only professional but deeply kind and attentive. They cared for my mother as if she were their own, always ensuring she was comfortable, safe, and loved. My sister in law is in that horrible place. Her clothes are missing her shoes are missing. Her brand new cell phone is missing. There doesn’t seem to be any activities. The people just wonder the halls. We have been waiting weeks to get her tv mounted on the wall.
