Abington Hospital - Jefferson Health

Very bad experience.. I understand hospitals and physicians try their best..not feeling that so much with Abington Jefferson anymore. Its like they have given up. Admit you when you haven't even asked to be...then sit you in a room for days.. and not listen to what you, the patient is saying.. and when you request to be d/c because you are feeling worse than before you came to the hospital...and what you came for was never addreesed and you are actually in more pain..the dr says you can only leave against medical advice..and when you dont because you feel that is wrong....and in a sense you just feel like a prisoner ... the hospital just bills..bills..and bills your insurance until they finally decide to discharge with not really helping you..and you feeling worse than you felt before y

Today my 5 stars is to Grace F!!! My husband went to emergency room with kidney stones and Grace was amazing. She is sweet, friendly, attentive and very very super professional. I hope your leader or manager can see how you are a good girl. We waited many hours outside but when we entered the emergency room this girl made the long wait worth it. Thank you Grace! You’re the best! I like this hospital, is clean and they have excellent doctors. Nothing to complain

Hospitality, maintenance and meals are great. Some nurses tend to be careless while others are extremely hospitable. The usual routine is no food or water for the first two days. Then patients are given meals on the second night/third morning until discharge. Meals are hot and fresh. Sometimes it is missing several ingredients. Blood work is drawn every hour (throughout the night) unless downgraded to a regular room. Nurses are too busy answering calls, chit chatting, and running errands. Fleas, fruit flies, and dust are all over the regular rooms and beds. Tv signals go on and off. Pharmacy is extremely overpriced (charged $87 for pen needles) and super busy. It felt like an extraordinary burden to ask for help amongst the employees' busy schedules. The hospital will charge you for evalua

Solid Jefferson Hospital system in the region. Parking can be difficult, but the modern and spacious hospital provides excellent medical care and services. Staff is friendly, willing to help.

A little nervous being called back for a double check on my mammogram for a suspected spot found. The people at the willow grove mammography center were so kind, friendly, professional. Starting with Ashley at registration, so sweet, to the mammo tech who told me she hoped my ultrasound would show I was ok ...the most caring and wonderful people. The world needs more people like this. What a positive experience. God bless them all.
