Dr. Shibutani is excellent! Very personable, thorough, and caring. Highly recommend. He takes the time to explain everything. I have to add his staff is very good too because they always get back with whatever is needed when I send a portal message. If there is one negative, I suggest making an appointment in the Huntingdon Valley location because the parking garage in Abington leaves a lot to be desired.

Dr. Shibutani is a competent and caring professional. He explains both the diagnosis and treatment options clearly and allows for questions so that the patient fully understands. I have confidence in Dr. Shibutani’s skills as a doctor and surgeon.

I submitted an earlier review of Dr Shibutani that was lower rated. Our relationship has progressed and I have a greater appreciation for our interactions. His professionalism has never been at issue. I believe his concern for my treatment and recovery are foremost in his approach to my care.

Dr. Shibutani has a wonderful bedside manor, is very thorough and kind. The office staff is pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend him!

I wish I could have had a different doctor. This doctor I had seemed to look down on me from the start. He was basically talking down to me because I couldn’t answer the questions he was asking. The nurses there were very helpful and nice. The doctor not so much, how is it my fault that the primary didn’t answer your phone call? Why tell me I have a bad primary? Or what relevance is it why I brought my father (the patient) to a curtain hospital? Also the patient never got treated for his condition. He got super upset when I showed my frustration that I couldn’t grasp what he was saying. Then start locking in on me for “rolling my eyes” at him. Even when I tried to de-escalate the situation he was pointing and waving his fingers in my face. If the office had cameras near the reception desk
