Customer Reviews
I initially chose this veterinary clinic based on the excellent reputation it had when Dr. Mary was practicing there. Many friends and family members highly recommended the clinic and spoke very positively of her care. However, when I scheduled my first appointment, I was informed that she was no longer employed, which was disappointing. During my first visit with my initial cat, the staff was thorough and kind. As a first-time cat owner, I was understandably nervous, and I appreciated the level of care shown at that appointment. Unfortunately, my experience declined significantly during multiple visits. When I brought in my second cat months later, I felt she was barely examined. I left that appointment extremely frustrated and concerned. Not long after, my second cat developed itchy ea
Sharing for my sister. She cannot leave a review but felt strongly enough she wrote one and asked me to post it: My sister had been bringing her dogs to Abbott Road for the past few years and have had no issues. We love the male doctor and trust everything he has to say. We used to have Doctor Mary, and she was the best vet we’ve ever met. The techs are very informative and kind with the animals, and are always happy to see our boy. However, today was the first time we had Doctor Jennifer Bennett, and is the first time I have doubted a vet who worked there. She started the appointment very forcefully and came in very firm. My sister's dog, Scotty, then backed away from her and jumped into my lap. She then loudly said “No no no, put him down”, so I did. She then proceeded to back him into
I loved Abbott at the beginning but as time went on and our dog having anxiety they could not handle it. I was always accommodating and did everything I could to help them with him. They wanted him drugged on everything and anything under the sun in order to see him. On top of the medicine they wanted him muzzled or sedated every time we came in. That was the final straw for us. He is a great boy with anxiety and they DID NOT CARE. I have never left a bad review, ever, and didn’t plan to until I learned how terribly they truly treated my pup being with our new vet. I would have to take the whole day off to give him his doses to go in for anything. They also misdiagnosed a major issue with his tooth that I asked about and now he has to have a procedure to fix what they missed or simply bru
Took my dog in to get her an*l glands expressed due to her having chronic issues with it. The team was kind and patient with my dog despite the fact that she is notoriously bad with being handled. I must shout out Jessica for making the whole process as quick and painless for my dog as possible. I don't know what I would do without them. I have other options in terms of vet care but their great care and customer service keeps me coming back. If you want good pet care with kind people who love animals then go to Abbott road.
Great office, fantastic people. Have been going to this office for a long time with little to no issues & vets are typically well-mannered and intelligent. Jennifer Bennett, however, clearly cheated her way through her schooling. She recommends stuff ‘just because she does it’ for her own pets, poor things. Several things she mentioned were not only obviously wrong to someone with common sense, but via several research papers NOT okay to treat your dog with such things, in our case even worse since our dog has sensitive skin. Additionally, claimed there was no sign of an ear infection but prescribed ear infection medication. I question whether she’s mixing up dogs, or just not paying the slightest bit of attention. Several claims she made contradict 2-3 other veterinarians we’ve seen, inc
