A New You Massage Spa

I’ve been to this location several times before and have always had decent experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. This was, by far, the WORST experience I’ve ever had here and actually the first negative review I’ve ever written because I felt that strongly about it. I booked a 20 minute chair massage and specifically requested that the therapist focus on my neck and lower back due to ongoing pain in those areas. Unfortunately, those areas were barely addressed at all. Instead, the massage felt extremely rough and uncomfortable the entire time. Toward the end, it genuinely felt like I was being hit in the back of the head while he was working on my back. Today was the second time I've visited this massage parlor. First was for a chair massage and today a 60 minute full body. I have to say its one of the best full body massages I've ever had. I see some negative reviews posted. Here is my assessment. This is massage with a purpose. Not a foofoo just gentle massage. The masseuse got all of my knots out and worked hard at giving me a great massage. Also the convenience of being able to just walk in is fantastic. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend to others to give this place a try.

I have been here multiple times. Most of the time I get the full body with the back and foot rubs, hot stones and whatnot, but I’ve also had the chair massages. Love that they do walk-ins so I can just go whenever I feel like it rather than having to make an appointment somewhere. Bit of a language barrier, but I’ve personally never had a problem. I’ve gone here plenty of times and there has always been consistency with what I get. The guy tends to do the full body massages and the girl does the chair massages. Their menu is kinda vague as to what you’re paying for; for example chair massages for me have always been deep tissue (and painful, but that’s deep tissue for you) while their full body massages are more relaxing. I usually get those unless I have a problem area I want worked on.

A bit awkward. I expected the language barrier but it would’ve been appreciated if they had better info listed. Apparently the chair massage was deep tissue and i’m lucky i have a high pain tolerance because my skin was very aggressively stretched on my shoulders and left bruises. I didn’t mind it, but there was no white noise or music which left me listening to the loud talking in the mall in a dark room with a man. Heard what i believe was his wife yelling through most of it. I tipped well, but was not told of the extra cash needed to use card. Sort of just an uncomfortable experience and will likely not return

Very very rough on the back massage, woke up the next day in excruciating pain in between shoulder blades. Very rude. Before I went I had zero issues. Very poor experience. I suggest staying far away
