Zen Massage Place

If I could give this six stars out of five I totally would! I kept reading reviews about Tina and I was lucky to have her as my masseuse. For some reason, I didn't specify where I felt I needed the most work done and she intuitively hit EVERY single spot I needed work on and even other spots that I didn't realize needed some TLC. The relaxing music playing in the background was definitely a huge plus as well. I'm always very hesitant to get a massage because I'm very sensitive and uncomfortable with foreign touch, but I instantly felt comfortable and respected by her. It was so difficult to get up after because my body was SO relaxed and at ease. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and thanked me for choosing them. I had a bad time here I had a couples massage with my husband and my massage therapist was unnecessarily touching me with her body I felt so uncomfortable and anxious during my massage. since it was my first ever massage I wasn’t sure if that was normal. after talking to my husband and doing some research I see that it’s definitely NOT normal . I also kept having to explain if I wanted it softer or harder and she ended up doing everything soft literally felt like I had no massage, there was also a language barrier I think she didn’t understand what I was asking her. I need to speak to a manager and I’d like a refund for my massage. My husband on the other hand didn’t have the same experience his masseuse was respectful and did a good job.

I have always been going to Zen whenever I’m in Santa Barbara! I went the other day and had an OK foot rub for an hour. I had to keep requesting light or harder and almost seemed masseuse was not trained let alone had no experience in massaging. The next day I’m showering and notice I have bruises on my legs. . I’m requesting a refund and more experienced masseuses in the future. I would like a reply back and refunded.

tina rocked my world, my coworkers got together one night and treated ourselves to a Zen massage night. best massage we’ve ever had, she was so thorough and attentive and kind. A little nosy in lobby but thankfully they played some zen music in our rooms ! The towels were clean and the room felt sanitized. Wear comfy clothes for after ! left feeling so Zen & relaxed! Go and ask for Tina u won’t regret!

Zen Massage in downtown Santa Barbara is awesome! The location off Milpas is so convenient and business hours offer lots of flexibility. The staff are incredibly nice and very professional. They give great massages and always seem to know exactly what to work on - my bad shoulder always feels incredible for weeks after a session. Every Massage therapist there gives stellar massages and each one stays aware of their client and constantly works to provide the highest quality experience. It's always easy to get an appointment or to simply walk in. I am also very sensitive to dirt and dust so it's very refreshing that Zen Massage is always incredibly clean and tidy, filled with pleasant scents. Zen gets my highest recommendation!
