Horrible experience. Worst experience I’ve had with a doctor. Her name was Lori Smolinski. She was not competent. Said I could possibly have glaucoma and wanted me to come in and pay for further testing… she gave me a prescription and a bunch of other false information. It felt wrong to my gut, so I got a second opinion that same day by a different eye doctor at Complete Eye Heath. Wow! Zeeland Vision didn’t even get my prescription correct! Also- perfectly healthy eyes with zero signs of glaucoma and zero need to return for glaucoma testing. The doctor I saw at Zeeland vision was horrible! She obviously wants money and is NOT a competent doctor! Oh and they had me pay for some thing where I didn’t need my eyes dialed…um that is free at every other eye doctor! I’m extremely upset! My wife recently had an eye exam at Zeeland Vision with Dr. Lori Smolinski and the experience was very disappointing. During the visit she was told she might have glaucoma and was advised to start expensive eye drops. She was also asked to sign for and pay $44 for a laser eye scan. After paying for the scan, she was then told not to do the scan and to just use the drops instead, but the office would not refund the charge. Because the diagnosis and recommendations didn’t feel right, she sought a second opinion from another eye doctor. The second doctor found no glaucoma and confirmed she does need glasses, even though she was originally told she did not. This is a great office! When I called, they were able to get me into an appointment within a few days and were very kind and helpful with insurance questions. They offered me earlier appointment slots due to cancellations. I got to my appointment a bit late but everybody was very kind and helpful, and I waited under 5 minutes to get called back for my exam. The eye technician was very kind and explained everything they were doing, and the optician was the same. Overall a great experience!

I experienced a very total eye exam and each step was explained to me so I understand what was going on with my vision. I certainly appreciate the knowledgeable Doctor and staff who I trust with the health of my vision.

I am really quite impressed with them. Best service I have ever had for my eyes. I had appointments with 2 of the doctors there and both are outstanding. I would highly recommend Zeeland Vision over just heading to Walmart for some basic service. They have the best knowledge, tools and equipment to provide top tier service.
