Young Ho Kim, MD | Kaiser Permanente

Dr Kim was a wonderful surgeon. He tells you how it is and doesn’t sugar coat anything. He and his team removed a 9mm kidney tumor from my husband just in time before cancer spread. I very much so dislike Kaiser. But this urologist is on the top of my list. If you want a Dr to sweet talk you, then go somewhere else. If you want the truth, then this is the Dr to see! Forever grateful for Dr Kim!!

If there was ZERO SATR RATING, I would’ve given him 1000 zero, Extremely RUDE to me all the times when I had appointments with him, and even after I had surgery, he kept being rude and obnoxious. He has no consideration to patients psychological mood, he snapped at me several time for asking him questions concerning my health and issues after the surgery. He humiliated me and made me feel as I was criminal not a patient and as if I was in concentration camp not a hospital. He told these exact words “you’re the worst patient I ever had” I have been with Kaiser since 1999 and I have been in many departments and had few surgeries but never complained about anyone, they were all professional and understanding except him, and because of him I have decided to LEAVE KAISER and switch to anothe

Dr. Kim was one of the rudest surgeons I have dealt with ever. Don't get me wrong he probably is a great surgeon, but he does have the WORST bedside manners. I agree with the others below he really is very unprofessional and does not like to answer questions. Considering he works for Kaiser he needs to learn how to speak to his patients

The rudest, most condescending and most unprofessional physician I have ever encountered. I visited my father post-surgery and asked Dr. Kim some questions on my father's behalf because he is hard of hearing. Dr. Kim has zero tolerance for any questions and reacts as if you're an idiot that he's already explained something to you 100 times. Dr. Kim is completely unreasonable and clearly has no desire to deal with patient families. This man needs to stop practicing and undergo psychological evaluation.

Very rude doctor Dr. Young Kim works at kaiser in Baldwin Park he’s a surgeon ! Unprofessional conduct towards his own staff and patients. My sister had late surgery due to many patients. I was told it will b a 1-2 hr surgery so I left to get a bite to eat and came back an hour later apparently Dr. Young Kim went home. I asked the RN questions regarding my sisters surgery and couple of other question the nurse said she really doesn’t know but that she’ll call and ask the doctor so she called him on the phone. All I heard was him yelling at her! The nurse gave me the phone & said to talk to him so I did! I proceeded to ask him questions regarding my sisters procedure if he removed all her kidney stones, what happens next, home care etc...he rudely responded saying he’s tired, he’s hungry t
