I recently became a patient of Dr. Tsai and it has been a true nightmare. I was referred by my general practitioner and I was looking forward to being seen by this office. I went this past 2/26/26 to get the results from my blood work and x-ray. I met with the nurse practitioner Aimee Chen-Wiener and before I saw her I asked for my copy of the results to keep for my records. She proceeded to tell me that I have Osteoarthritis and that's the cause of my pain. However, the day before I went to the Radiologist portal and i saw my results that said everything looked normal. I did mention that to her but she did not pay attention to me. So, I accepted and believed everything she said because I am not a doctor. She was willing to prescribe me medicine but I told her maybe in the future because I
Despite reading many negative reviews about Dr. Tsai’s quality of care, I decided to give him a chance anyway. I had my initial appointment on August 8, 2025, after experiencing unusual symptoms and bloodwork indicating positive ANA and elevated rheumatoid factors. Dr. Tsai entered the room and immediately declared that he did not believe I had Lupus or RA, as there were no indications. However, the primary reason I sought a Rheumatologist was because my bloodwork suggested an autoimmune disease. He dismissed all of my concerns after only half-heartedly listening to me and refused to examine the photographs of my swollen hands and feet from the previous episode or inquire about my symptoms. He asserted that swelling was merely water retention. At the age of 40, I had never experienced swel
I had a very disappointing experience when trying to schedule an appointment with this office. While speaking with the front desk, I was repeatedly interrupted and told that what I was saying did not make sense when I was simply trying to ask a question. I was attempting to clarify whether the doctor’s name needed to be listed on the referral from my provider. Instead of helping answer the question, the staff member was dismissive and ultimately hung up the phone while I was still speaking. Because of this interaction and the level of disrespect shown, I decided not to schedule an appointment. Professional and respectful communication is especially important in healthcare settings, and unfortunately that was not my experience.
I found the doctor to be very nice, but the office staff were not so nice. I witness them treat people poorly while sitting and waiting for my appointment. I try not to leave bad reviews when the staff is the issue, and since I didn’t directly experience it I didn’t leave a review at that time. I was schedule to return in 6 months to discuss treatments. About a month before my appointment I called to move it out by one month when Medicare would kick in for me. The scheduler refused to schedule me. She said I would have to call back after the Medicare was active. This made absolutely no sense to me at all. I told her I already had the card and supplement info, but since it wasn’t yet active she told me I could not schedule. Scheduling later would mean a further delay in being seen
This review is for primarily the nurse who answered my phone call. She was dismissive, rude, clearly in a rush to get through the phone call. She didn't allow me to complete a sentence as to why I was calling, There by extending the length of time the call as I had to clarify the situation. She thought she whati was about to say and had the answers before. I even completed a sentence, she was wrong. She told me her name was Karen, how appropriate. It seems over the years the office has taken on more patients than they can clearly handle between the length of time waiting the rushed Dr/patient time and the lack of professional courtesy when they do answer the phone. And by the way she then hung up on me again mid sentence. I have worked in customer relations over the decades, and I know how
