My children have been patients collectively for 4 years at Yavapai Pedatrics, and I feel compelled to share my experience regarding my children's care with others. While I appreciate the convenience of the location, I have found that my concerns about my children's health and behavior were often dismissed as purely behavioral issues -misdiagnosed due to business statistics. This has left me feeling ignored as the parent and that my children were not receiving the proper care they required at the time. I expressed a desire to have a delayed vaccination schedule for my children, which I felt was in their best interest. We LOVE Yavapai Pediatrics! We have been seeing Megan and Dr. Smith for the last 3 years and we have never had anything but positive experiences with both of them. The staff is excellent with our kiddos and Megan and Dr. Smith always take our questions and concerns seriously. As long as we live in this area, we will never take our kiddos anywhere else! Thank you Yavapai Pediatrics for all that you do to take the best care of our babies!

Overall, my experience has been very good. Most of the staff, including Karen and the nurse on the triage line, have always been professional, kind, and helpful. I’ve also had nothing but positive interactions with Dr. Smith. However, during a recent visit, I had a disappointing experience that I feel needs to be addressed. While waiting for my daughter to be evaluated, I was seated near the nurses’ station and overheard two staff members having a very inappropriate conversation. One of them was using vulgar language and speaking negatively about other patients and their parents. The other was making unprofessional comments about a fellow staff member. Once they realized I was present, they switched to speaking in Spanish, but the tone and subject matter appeared to remain the same. This

They MAKE you vaccinate your newborn if you go here. Won’t let you schedule an appointment without agreeing to vaccinate. Good money grab by the doctors. Ridiculous.

We are extremely lucky that our kids are patients of dr smith and christen. We have a medically complex child and dr smith and Karen in the front office have both gone above and beyond to get him in, send out necessary referrals and study reports from his previous schools and past physicians. Dr smith is super direct, which might turn some parents off but she is incredibly knowledgeable and really kind and patient with our special needs child. We appreciate her so much. Christen always sees our older kids and she definitely listens to our concerns and checks every box. We were returning patients after leaving the area and are so glad to be back. This office genuinely cares about their patients.
