If you ever go to the urgent care in summers commons make sure you don't get Dr. Avi Laster He came into the room and seemed very unprepared, felt like he didn't look at my chart to see I have a history of high BP, he didn't know they swabbed me for Covid/flu. Diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and I have bad asthma. He told me to take mucinex and use a Neti pot. He told me to come back in 10 days if I still didn't feel good. He would not fill out a medical progress report for work to take one extra day to heal. Worst experience ever. Normally that urgent care is great.
I visited the Mohegan Lake several time and was very pleased with the treatment I received. That location closed so I decided to visit the location on Somers. I was happy that the care there is also as good. The office is run efficiently. I highly recommend this urgent care office out of all the others in the area and between me and family member we have visited a few. My favorite thing about this office is that you can make an appointment and that drastically reduces the wait time.
Everyone there was wonderful. From the lady at the front deck to the nurse taking my vitals and the doctor. The doctor was wonderful. He took his time to explain everything. Was very comfortable there.
The office staff & clinicians are great! Natalia is awesome!! She listens and is empathetic to your concerns while being a true professional! They also have an onsite x-ray machine, which is great if you ever need one while visiting them. I highly recommend them.
Pleasant experience Unable to see my MD for a month.Made an appointment at Yale New Haven.Was seen promptly . NP was professional and very kind. She made diagnosis and given script Staff pleasant. Will definitely use facility again if needed
