Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care Newtown

The check-in and wait time in the lobby was not bad at all, however the wait period in the exam room was very very long and I contemplated leaving and requesting a copay refund! However I stuck it out and once seen, the service from the PA was great and very helpful. He diagnosed my issue pretty much immediately and was able to provide me with good info and directions for my recovery process. If I did not have to wait about 30-35 minutes in the exam room it would have been 5 stars.

I arrived at urgent care at 6:40, they took me in by 6:50. Timothy who I believe was the nurse was very professional with a pleasant personality. Deborah Branco, PA was wonderful. She diagnosed. my problem and explained what I would have to do. She was very clear and easy to understand. She also had a great personality and I felt very comfortable. Everyone there was great, good visit and I would go there again. Thankyou everyone.😍

Jamie and Kat were warm and welcoming. I felt very comfortable at the Urgent care. Very thorough Jamie was. As for my Dr he was great sympathetic and examined me well. Would recommend anyone to go. ❤️..

Great and friendly staff! The office staff and the doctor completed 3 school physicals in a timely manner. Even though we were very late for our appointment, the entire office was very friendly and accommodating to us which made the visit go smoothly. We are thankful and appreciative of the service we received. We will definitely use this location again!

My clinician was very nice & professional, but I am angry that this facility had no “ear wicks” to treat my painful ear infection. After my clinician explained how she couldn’t get the medicine past a swollen ear canal without an ear wick, she found none in the facility, and there was no telling when more would arrive. Because of this, she had to prescribe 10 days of oral antibiotics in addition to the drops that would have sufficed if they had the ear wick. This is inexcusably bad inventory control. I will now have to force my ear open for days to get the medicine in and take a full course of oral antibiotics. How can patients have any confidence that the facility will be able to help them if they do not keep on top of their medical supply inventory?
