Dr Merrick provided exceptional care for my dog who was diagnosed with lymphoma. I can’t thank the team enough for their care, expertise, and allowing me to ask endless questions along the way. Our dog, Brewski always left the office happy and rarely had anxiety for his lengthy treatments he went through which provided him an excellent quality of life. Newtown Veterinary Specialists saved my dogs life! An er vet told me she had to be put down immediately and there was nothing I could do to save her. I got a second opinion and thank God I did! Horrible experience turned amazing! The whole team from the front desk to the doctors on staff and even the after care team! Our sweet boy Freddy was in good hands the second he walked in the door! 24 hours later, he is back home on the path to recovery!! Our dog Molly needed an emergency surgery for a broken leg, we live in NY state but it was the only specialist our vet here found that could operate her asap since she could lose her leg if we had waited, it was a holiday weekend, we drove 3h to drop her off and they were amazing. Dr Headrick called me the next morning before the surgery to explain all the procedure. We picked her up in 2 days and they kept in touch with us letting us know how she was. The weeks following the surgery, I kept in contact through email and phone calls and they wanted to see pictures and videos of her walking to make sure she was ok, they also kept in touch with her local vet and they were able to do her xrays here and send to them.
