Yale New Haven Health Outpatient Radiology Trumbull

I recently had a biopsy at this facility and was cared for by Laura, Tina, and Dr. Hooley. I didn’t fully know what to expect going in, but I was so grateful to be in the hands of this team. The procedure itself is not easy, but their professionalism, warmth, and genuine compassion made all the difference. They treated me with patience, respect, and kindness from start to finish. They took the time to explain each step, answered questions without rushing, and created an environment that felt both safe and human. I just wanted to acknowledge how much it meant to be treated with such care during a vulnerable moment. I deeply appreciate the way this team showed up for me.

Update: I made the mistake of not paying attention when I booked my 2024 mammogram and unfortunately booked here without realizing. What a huge mistake that was. It’s exactly two weeks today and still no results. Two weeks of stress and anxiety waiting. These people clearly don’t care about their patients. I did email patient relations today and they’re were very helpful. Went in on August 18th, it’s August 28th and I’m still waiting on results. It was my first time here. I’ve never had to wait more than 2 days for results before this.

I don't know what all the complaints are about the 5520 Park Ave, Trumbull location. I won't go anywhere else. They have always accommodated my schedule quickly (except for mammograms bc they've got a long wait, unless you're having a diagnostic mammogram and then they'll get you in quickly). Everyone is cordial and helpful. I've never had a problem and my results go right in the portal same night or next day the latest. They are fast, accurate and efficient.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. The most incompetent place. My sister had a mammo done over TWO weeks ago. TWO WEEKS! And STILL no results. She’s under 40, so there’s a clinical reason for this mammo and she’s been in pain and NOTHING. I get mine done by where I live and I have the results in two DAYS tops. This is completely unacceptable. They need better workers, management, more radiologists to interpret these reports, SOMETHING. Because two weeks to read a mammo is ridiculous. DO NOT GO HERE, if you’re someone who’s anxious and worried and in pain.

My doctor ordered a PET scan. I got an appointment for ten days after the test was ordered. They called when an appointment canceled and got me in almost immediately. The staff was very pleasant, and everything went well. No complaints with any of the services I have had with Yale/New Haven.
