XPress Care Pharmacy goes above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment I started interacting with them, I could tell they truly care about their patients — not just filling my prescriptions. They took the time to personally help me understand how to get more out of my insurance plan even connecting me with a dedicated contact to improve my coverage — at no cost. That kind of service is almost unheard of especially in Detroit. But, they did not stop here… in facttheir staff actually drove all the way to my doctor’s office to pick up medication samples for me. Samples to make sure I didn’t go without while waiting for the prior authorization to go through my insurance. This is the second time I have ever written a second review for a healthcare provider, and this one is for XPress Care Pharmacy. The level of care and attention I have received from this pharmacy has been truly exceptional. In one instance, the pharmacist took time over his weekend to personally investigate a medication that had been suggested for me. During that process, he identified that the medication works by lowering dopamine — something I know I would not tolerate well. That insight was a huge catch and prevented what could have been a very difficult situation for me. Beyond that moment, the entire team consistently goes above and beyond. They communicate with my doctors’ offices, help navigate prior authorizations, manage refills, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

I can’t say enough about this pharmacy, especially the pharmacist Hussein. He is an amazing person who goes above and beyond for everyone who walks through the door. He always takes the time to listen, answer questions clearly, and ensure I get exactly what I need. You can tell he really loves what he does, and it shows in every interaction. It’s rare to find someone who treats you like family, but that’s exactly how Hussein makes me feel.

This pharmacy should be listed as one of the best! They are very courteous, timely and professional. Including their delivery options, driver went out of his way to be sure my delivery tucked away safely until I got home!
