After struggling to get scripts from other pharmacies, my doctor finally recommended this hidden gem. Ali was so helpful navigating confusing insurance issues I was running into with other pharmacies. He also was incredibly knowledgeable and answered all my questions patiently about herbs, supplements, etc. I don't think I could ever see someone at CVS being as helpful and attentive. And as a bonus, the space is beautiful and calm. A far more pleasant experience than fluorescent lighting, bad carpets, and long lines.

Ali, my pharmacist at Corktown Health, knows me by name and voice and talks with me about my health in detail every time I visit. He advocates on my behalf to locate rare medications for my chronic illness and even calls me when my prescriptions are ready. Big Pharma’s push for a “digital experience” can’t replace this—I’m so grateful to still have access to it.

I chose Corktown Apothecary because I was drawn to the unique vintage and antique items and loved that it was a small, locally owned business. What I didn’t expect was to find a pharmacist as warm and comforting as the atmosphere itself. Ali, the owner, genuinely cares. He remembers patients by name, takes a sincere interest in their lives and health, and goes above and beyond whether it's offering clear, reassuring advice or helping navigate complicated insurance issues. The pharmacy also features locally made candles, natural toiletries, as well as homeopathic and herbal supplements. Truly a rare find, and I’m so glad to have discovered it!

Great local pharmacy that carries all the basics in the shop. Super nice guy runs it! Beautiful, well-priced, and even smells lovely.

Switching to this amazing, locally owned business has been a huge quality of life improvement. It removed a whole set of frustrations around, dealing with big box pharmacies with dwindling resources and automatic phones that never resulted in speaking to a real person. Ali is an amazing pharmacist who really understands customer service, seriously if you’re not switching to this business right now, I don’t know what you’re doing.
