Amazing personnel and new hospital complex. It would be nice if the building has been cleaned better because at the rate like this, it will degrade fast. The whole Utica downtown has been transformed by this hospital, countless people from the area are working now- a lot to be thankful for 🙏❤️ Some of the staff are truly God’s chosen people.

Most of the staff were amazing, except for one woman in the ER who may have been having an off night, the food was good. Everything was clean. My needs were met. Communication was an 8/10. Things moved really fast, but I was actively about to die if I didn't get treatment. I'm thankful for the surgical team and my post-op care. Thank you for pretty much saving my life. ♡

I had a very positive experience overall. The staff were wonderful, the nurses were kind and attentive, and the entire process felt professional, well-organized, and timely. From check-in to care delivery, everything was handled in a way that truly prioritizes patient comfort and reassurance. I do have one small observation I’d like to share, offered purely from a patient safety perspective. Temperature was taken orally using a disposable cover, which I understand is replaced for each patient. However, due to the short length of the thermometer probe, part of the device remains very close to the patient’s mouth and nasal area. My daughter had surgery last week, and as a mother, I can’t fully describe the relief I felt once we arrived. I’ll be honest, I was nervous at first after hearing a few negative comments and not knowing what to expect. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine compassion. Prep nurse Jessica was wonderful, calm, kind, and reassuring during those nerve-wracking moments before surgery. The anesthesia team also deserves special recognition for explaining everything clearly and making sure my daughter was comfortable and safe, that gave us tremendous peace of mind. Once again I take issue with a certain Dr, who also works the ER/ED, that gives a patient morphine and states that said patient stated they don't take mysoline when the patient never said that. Then he runs a drug test knowing it will come back positive for opiates and barbiturates. Said Dr also stated patient was probably intoxicated which is absolutely wrong bc patient doesn't consume alcohol bc of their religious beliefs. Patient also informed nursing staff during a recent hospital stay about medications and how their pulmonologist, cardiologist and other Drs have prescribed said medications and what times they are to be taken. Patient wasn't given medications as prescribed or times that they were to be given. Two of these medications weren't given at all which caused breathing problems
