We have been going to Dr. Hockenberry for years. He not only has taken care of our regular visits and dental emergencies, but he knows our family. Good expertise as well as good customer service. My dental hygienist, Angela, is also a delight. The building updates create a very welcoming environment.

Dr. Lupinetti is by far the best dentist around the Harrisburg area. I could not see myself going anywhere else for dental work, the entire office is clean and professional. I was in and out for a deep cavity and he managed to handle my over the top anxiety very well.

My wife was nearly a 25 year patient of this practice. Due to a communication problem between her and myself, she dropped her costly dental insurance plan at her employer, but I never added here to my employer's less expensive plan. Se had her regular 6 month check-up and they charged us $202!!! OUCH!! For a check-up!!! The insurance contract rate was $130, which they aren't' allowed to charge us. But they are allowed to negotiate anything in between, (say $131???) which they absolutely refused to do! In fact, they wanted the whole amount immediately. For an extra $70, yes SEVENTY DOLLARS, they said adios to 4 patients! After 24 years!! So if you need a check-up, it will cost big $$$. AND, if you ever find yourself in our position, they'd rather have the money than you. We're disappointed

Dr. Hockenberry caused me tremendous pain and suffering. I went to Dr. Hockenberry for the first time for a routine checkup. He identified several cavities on both sides of my mouth much to my surprise. He squeezed me into two appointments the very next day. The dentist completed fillings for one side of my mouth at around 9:30am. Less than two hours later he called me back again for the other side, while my mouth was still numb. This was very unusual according to the dental hygienist. I assume that since I had to leave for college the next day, he did not want to lose me as a customer and the chance to charge a large sum to my insurance. After the procedure, I experienced intense pain on all sides of my mouth and unbearable cold sensitivity as well and intense isolated headaches.

Went here because a small piece of my front tooth chipped off. Rogliano filled it but within a few weeks it came off. Went back in and Rogliano filled it again. Both times he did no prep to the area just filled it. Well that lasted 2 1/2 months before the same thing happened. I went back a third time assuming they would fix their bad work and this time had dr hockenberry. He actually did prep on the tooth shaving it down some and then filled it. Well it’s been years and I haven’t had any issues with that tooth. They ended up billing me a second time because I had another dentist do the work. It was done correctly this time thankfully but why would you bill a patient again? So hockenberry can get paid okay well why wouldn’t you pay him through the original one that was never done right by R
