They always treat Tyson with great care! They always set up their patient room with his name and are very welcoming. Dr. Barker does a great job assessing each pets cardiac work up and writing a detailed report for our primary vet. We have been coming here for our cardiac ultrasounds every year since diagnosed! I cannot recommend Dr. Mix and Woodlands staff enough. 5 stars is simply not close to the accurate depiction of the quality of care, service, and genuine compassion you receive the second you step foot in this place. They all go above and beyond to not only care for their furry patients but as well as their owners. Dr. Mix is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and caring healthcare professionals. I’ll be forever grateful for her and the staff here.

Totally misdiagnosed my standard poodle also gave wrong meds which resulted in an arrhythmia. I took my sweet girl to Upstate Vet in Greenville, SC. Was given the correct diagnosis and meds and was told by them that Woodlands misdiagnosed and that they are not cardiologists. 😳. I was charged the same amount at Upstate and they are real cardiologists not pretending to be. Please be warned! It’s worth the drive!

I can’t thank the Woodlands staff enough for their kindness while treating my cat Binx for kidney disease. Every appointment, good news or bad, we were met with such compassion from Dr Barker and Spring, especially. Binx definitely put up a fight a few times but they showed him love anyways. He even got a Good Boy charm for being a good boy :’) When it came time to help our Binx cross the rainbow bridge, they were both so incredibly kind. It made what was an extremely difficult time just a little bit easier. (For lack of a better word) I appreciate it so much. I recommend them to anyone looking for kind compassionate care for their fur babies.

I would not recommend Woodlands for a plethora of reasons. Truly a disappointment as far as diagnostics, proper diagnosis, empathy/compassion, and principles.
