Newell Orthodontics

I'm so glad I found Newell orthodontics! I am a woman in my 50s who some years ago had clear aligners to straighten my teeth. Over the years they shifted slightly but I wanted a permanent retainer to keep them where they were. I contacted two other orthodontic offices in the Athens area and both of them turn me down and told me that they would have to fix my teeth before they could put a permanent retainer in. My teeth are not that crooked but they are simply not perfect! All I wanted was a permanent retainer to keep the progress that I had as I am not going to do aliners again at my age. Newell orthodontics never asked any questions, and simply provided what I was asking for! So nice to go to a place that is not trying to upsell all the time! Katherine and Dr Newell were excellent communicators and highly professional. Not to mention excellent use of state of the art equipment for diagnosis. Looking forward to my Invisalign treatment.

Our son (8) was nervous about his appointment. His fears were lifted after getting there. He was told step by step of what he was going to do that day. Once his scans started it was a little difficult for him. Amy was so kind and caring about making sure he was comfortable. 100% recommend.

Katherine was amazing with my son, 7yo. He was so nervous to go but once we were done he told me it was the best part of his day! Katherine took time to explain everything to him in terms he understood instead of just talking past him to me. The entire staff was very friendly. My son is excited to go back to start his treatment plan.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Katherine was great with my daughter. She was patient and explained everything she was doing. They didn’t recommend anything that wasn’t needed. Great experience!
