Wood & Myers Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Doesn't seem many people like the dentist, hard to find pleasant reviews for any, but for my second visit with Wood & Myers, I have to say, "So far, so good". The Carlisle office is clean and new, equipment and layout seems efficient, but the real gem of this office is Brook. Quite accommodating and empathetic, she got my xrays done, researched my insurance coverage, and processed my claim and payment right in the exam room! I found that helpful and considerate. Initial consultation on my broken tooth extraction, and required bone graft, so I will have to review the surgery part later, but my initial review, so far, is good.

My 88 year old Mom needed a broken tooth extracted. From the moment we walked in the doors, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have a long wait. We met Dr. Setliff and he immediately made us feel comfortable. We had a consultation first and went back later for the extraction. My mom was treated with patience and understanding and the extraction was done with care and precision. We left with a full knowledge of aftercare for herself and her nursing home staff. We definitely recommend this practice.

Avoid at all costs. Daniel Smith is an absolute butcher. Don’t let him come anywhere near you. After he destroys your life, he won’t support you at all. I went in for a routine procedure and he removed most of my lip. He left my face in horrific condition after a simple mucouscele removal. I’ve seen several doctors after to attempt to remedy. All have not idea why Smith operated the way he did. Horrible horrible horrible. One of the biggest mistakes I’ve made in my life was trusting my care to Daniel Smith. Stay away from him!!

I had a great experience with this oral surgeon’s office! The reception was warm and welcoming, and the customer service was excellent. The staff answered all my questions clearly and professionally, and it was clear they were well-trained and caring. After my wisdom teeth extraction, I was provided with sufficient pain management, which left me with minimal pain and swelling. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. Highly recommend!

I was scheduled to have my tooth pulled. Left work 45 mins before appointment. Found out I had a completely flat tire (screw stuck in it). Called to let them know I wouldn't be able to make my appointment. They asked if I could get another ride, I said no. They told me they can reschedule me, but I would need to pay an extra $100 because I cancelled after the 24hr mark. I understand a lot of places do this, but come on people have emergency. I definitely don't have the extra $100 since I had to drop money to fix my tire.
