Women's Pavilion At Baptist Medical Center Downtown

We had our baby yesterday here and while my wife was delivering and being checked, analyzed, scanned I was on the sidelines notating everything around me. I have nothing bad to say at all: Everyone from the staff that took care of my wife in the triage room, to the labor room to postpartum- EVERYONE was kind, caring and respectful. Seriously, no complaints about anyone or anything! All our questions had answers no matter how complicated or simple it was. It felt like they took care of my wife and son as if they were his own family. The rooms are ridiculously clean: At no point did I see any dust or debris in any of the rooms we were stationed in. Won’t let family visit if they have kids with them that are under 18. It’s 2023 and they are still using COVID as an excuse to not allow family visit their family members in the hospital. Absolutely ridiculous. Obviously their hospitals and maternity ward is soooo clean they have to keep family away from each other.

This is an absolute disgrace of care for women, when you have doctors that would lie on patients . Dr. Wolfe is a liar an a disgusting disgrace of a doctor. I received a letter saying that I will no longer receive care from this office, because I didn’t attend my appointments, but that was untrue, I attend every last one of my appointments on time. When I called the office I was told that the doctor notes said , I didn’t do my labs. This office is horrible when it comes to patients, they don’t care. I saw on other women’s post that they experience similar experiences. I thought maybe I would have got a doctor that care. I’m just thankful that this all came out now, who would want a doctor handling their precious baby and there a liar. He could have did something wrong/ horrible to my new

Respectful and wonderful professionals!!! I cant stress enough how wonderful every single person working there was! From the housekeeping to the doctors 10 stars!! Manger Ashley obviously leads by a exceptional example because we cant compliment any one nurse! They worked so hard for us and truly cared for our success! This doesnt happen by accident. True blessing to my family and we are forever in their debt for going the extra miles for us! Ill never forget the precious memories we took form this! Thank you for helping to bring our boy into the world!!!!

Let’s start with the good: hospital medical personnel(doctors/nurses) here are excellent at what they do and are generally professional. The auxiliary staff are generally unprofessional and rude. I say generally because some logistic/admin issues were difficult to ignore. For example, doc requests a specific suture and the support staff say we don’t have any. The table in the room during delivery had dried up blood on it. Health code violation type stuff. My wife orders quesadillas for lunch and gets two tiny pieces to her room. When asked why an actual meal wasn’t served, we were dismissed. This is a sad representation of what we thought “Baptist” was.
