Women's Health Newport/Ft. Thomas - St. Elizabeth Physicians

where do I begin?! This is going to be a long one! I came here (after trying numerous other teams in the area including good sam, tri health, christ, etc) but every team I called were already booked for the month of September (my due date month) so i unfortunately had to settle with st Elizabeth physicians for my OB care. I have heard very little good things about st Elizabeth/edgewood for prenatal care/labor and delivery but chose to base judgment off my own experience. However, I should have listened. I am 37 weeks today and the entire time I have been under this team of doctors, I have felt consistently dismissed and ignored. My initial first meet the drs visit with Carpenter was about 10 minutes— I brought up a vbac and was immediately basically told no even though my last delivery was

if i could give 0 stars, i would. it was an absolute headache just to get the appointment scheduled. once im there & taken back, they ask about 3 questions and cut me short while im explaining why im there. do some tests and tell me i’ll get a call on monday… well wednesday rolls around and i haven’t heard, so i call around 9am. im put on hold for a good 20 minutes and then told to leave a message. they call me back at 4:30pm, and before i was able to get to my phone to call back, they’re closed. so i wait and call back thursday morning to get my results, which end up telling me nothing that i hadn’t already known when i walked in. they proceeded to tell me they prescribed me a medication i’m ALLERGIC TO (even though i told them while i was at the appointment that i have an allergy!!) and

Quick & efficient. They helped ease my anxiety about my 1st gyno appointment since 2007. Staff is very friendly & caring. Dr. Carpenter was thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate. I did have 2 appointments canceled during covid peak times. No biggie. They quickly rescheduled. I don't know why this office has bad reviews. Maybe a different doctor. I had reasonable expectations & treated staff with respect. Total time in office for waiting, appointment, scheduling follow up , testing was 45 minutes.

The reception staff and the nurse staff at this establishment is truly wonderful. Very thankful for them; my nurse set up my MyChart for me in the exam room and that was so helpful and thoughtful, really appreciate it. The lab is super fast & the phlebotomists do a great job. This review used to be spicier. I've edited it after a positive and relieving conversation with the patient relations dept. I'll leave this; I would personally recommend steering clear of Dr. Willet (until he retires) as I find his personality lacking - - however the rest of the staff is truly fantastic. Dr. Satterwhite, for example, is a perfect option, she's kind and respectful in my experience, as are all the support staff. Thanks for reading

I see Dr Loftus and she is amazing. I love her understanding, her bed side manner and she’s just an all around easy person to talk to. However, the staff that works at St. Elizabeth is no help what’s so ever. If I have an appointment, I can always guarantee it’s going to be running 30-60 min late. I’ve never had an appointment that I showed up for 15-20 minutes early and it was on time. Also, anytime I call to make an appointment to see her ASAP, it’s always 3-4 weeks out. I have to always explain why it’s ASAP and I need my issue addressed and the scheduling staff can never find an opening, they suggest going to urgent care. There is a reason why I have a gynecologist, so I don’t have to go to a random doctor every time something pops up regarding my womanly health. So frustrating and I’m
