Wolfson Children's Emergency Room - Town Center

If you are not white, I honestly would not recommend coming here. This is a hospital, where people are supposed to feel safe and respected while receiving care. Instead, the atmosphere felt extremely unwelcoming. I noticed how every white patient seemed to receive a warm, friendly greeting. Meanwhile, anyone who was not white was spoken to with a noticeably snarky attitude by one of the staff members. The difference in treatment was obvious and uncomfortable to watch. I am the voice for the voiceless. These are patients coming in for medical care, and everyone deserves to be treated with the same respect and kindness. Another moment that made me extremely uncomfortable involved a security guard. He walked up to my toddlers and told my little girl she was “very beautiful,” then continue

I bring my daughter here ALL the time- she has Asthma so our trips to the ER are far more often then I’d like. Although they are always incredible, tonight was so amazing to me. As soon as I walked into the hospital, the receptionist had barely got my name when I was greeted by one of the doctors that recognized us and came over to see what was going on with my girl, because it is asthma she always gets in quickly but tonight, he took us back immediately and got started. The genuine care in the DR, the respiratory nurse and the nurse was just breathtaking. I have a 2 year old, she doesn’t like medicine and she freaks out over doctor visits, they are so calm and gentle with her. They don’t get frustrated they take their time with these kids and I’m so grateful ☺️ I never go to the hospital,

I would love to give a glowing review, I don’t remember names, but my wife seems to remember distinctively a woman by the name Taylor or Tayler not sure how it is spelled. We believe my 27 Month old daughter may have contracted Noro Virus, I had worked a 10HR Shift, my daughter had been throwing up horribly for a few hours, I rushed home and as I’m rushing home I’m attempting to decide the best place to take my daughter. UF Urgent Care was higher rated but I called just to inquire about that urgent care and the guy was absolutely rude, so then I called Wolfson, she was kind, and made me more comfortable with the idea of taking our daughter to their location. Getting there and signing in was smooth, luckily it wasn’t a busy night at this location, however whoever this Taylor woman was, s

I had to visit the Town Center Wolfson’s ER this evening after my 9 year old daughter broke her arm during her gymnastics class. She was seen by Dr. Issa Hanna who was absolutely amazing, very kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. He examined her as soon as we got in and ordered her X-Ray which was done pretty quick, he explained everything to me very clearly and was super professional. The nurses, the X-Ray techs, and the tech who did her splint were all very kind and professional. I would like to thank them all for making the experience very pleasant despite the tough situation we went through.

Took 4yr son in on a Saturday night for a sever long lasting fever. Dr and staff were incredibly nice and supportive. Walked us through every step of the process and took serious every concern which did lead to a better diagnosis than what I expected. I am now confident my son is on the right path to recovery10/10 will recommend
