I’m writing this review in hopes that someone is helped. My son’s pediatrician recommended that he saw an Ophthalmologist and provided me with a list to choose from. It’s my fault for not asking more questions or checking reviews for the doctors on list. Instead, I just chose Windy Hill Ophthalmology because I was familiar with the area. But redflag #1, no one ever answered the phone, you’re directed to text a number to make an appointment who I later found out is Dr. Jeffries himself. I enter the office and immediately see it doesn’t say child friendly… I assumed it was the receptionist who checked me in, however it was indeed Dr. Jeffries. (One man show?) I had just drove my 16 month old son an hour to get to the 10:30 appointment, so I was giving him fruit snacks so he would be mostly c

Very unprofessional & does not care about his patients! My 4 year old was referred by his pediatrician… for starters we had an appointment at 10:30 we didn’t get out of there until 2:00 & he only had one other patient there besides us. I explained to him that my sons eye started crossing after injury. He dilated my sons eyes and said he had almost perfect vision in both eyes then said he had farsightedness & prescribed him glasses which I was charged $85 for & was told when the glasses came in it would fix his eye from crossing immediately…. Well that didn’t happen but we gave ht time and my son wore them for a couple weeks saying they made his eyes itch and head hurt & it never fixed his eyes from crossing so I message the doctor & he referred him to a pediatric eye surgeon… I call them a

Went in at the end of October to have an eye exam. Received my glasses at the start of December and my prescription was way off from glasses I've had in the past. I've seen at least 5 different eye doctors moving around multiple states, and have always had successful results. I attempted to schedule another appointment to correct the issue, but was told I would be charged again for another appointment. Please stay away from this Ophthalmology office unless you want headaches from your prescription, and want to wait around for nearly an hour before your appointment starts.

My child and self attempted to be seen by this business, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! There staff member made it clear we we’re important or less than. IF YOU HAVE MEDICAID YOU WILL BE HANDLED AS SUCH! The staff at desk (palm colored) was a lot. My family DID NOT FEEL WELCOMED AND WAS REFUSED SERVICE AFTER DRIVING AN HOUR TO BE SEEN. No one answers the phone you will be texted to communicate. No STARS WOULD be a BETTER RATING OPTION. Again if you have Medicaid find A BETTER PROVIDER! They DO NOT WANT OUR SERVICE!!!!! This is located in Cobb county! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!

Dr Jefferies was opened during COVID-19 and taking all the necessary precautions to keep the office safe for all patients. I originally booked my appointment online via ZocDoc. Within a few minutes my appointment was confirmed. Now just keep in mind a "M.D." after a person's name makes a big difference and saves time and headache... not to mention level of professionalism displayed. ...and how they are trained to put you at ease during your surgery was much appreciated considering I was nauseous due to nerves When you first go into the office you are greeted by Ms Susan.
