Windsor Park Rehab & Nursing Center

I've been in many different nursing homes. Windsor Park treats their patients and their families like family. The nursing department us available 24 hours for any questions and concerns the families may have. The administrator knows every detail about every patient and also takes great pride in knowing that families are happy with the outcome of their loved ones care. It's a great place to have your loved ones reside.

Windsor Park rehab is fit for a DOG. I call the Health Department yesterday. The rooms are dirty housekeeping doesn’t clean well at all, clean my mom’s side of the room yesterday. The NURSES don’t seem to care. My mom is a diabetic they wouldn’t give her insulin when her blood sugar was 209 stating that they had to call the doctor, yesterday it was 223 they give her the regular dose 3 until. I feel the patient who are confined to the bed get the worst treatment . I don’t even to talk to anyone their , I have pictures of the things my mom experienced. They would even give her ice for her juice . PLEASE DON’T SEND YOUR LOVE ONE THEIR THE WORST. Sharon Brown

This is the worst nursing home I have ever seen. They are understaffed and not equipped to handle dementia, alzimers patient. They don't care about the elderly care, I've seen prisoner's in there received better treatment. I have caught them lied to me and my family 3 times about my father care DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES TO THIS NUSING HOME.

My mother was sent from LIJ hospital on a short term stay at Windsor Park in May 2020 for rehab due to congestive heart failure. To make a story short, my mother was 125lbs and with a happy demeanor. She is now 90lbs, on many antidepressant medications, dehydrated and sad. Due to the pandemic I could not visit my mother, just talk over the phone. In July 2020 the governor of NYC allowed visitors at the nursing homes. I immediately requested a visit, but when I saw my mother I started to cry, she had lost so much weight and was very sad and loopy and wearing other people's clothes. I kept bringing food everyday, but the director of nursing just told me "we bring her the food, but she is not eating it". She also told me that they do not do anything for my mother because she was not

Horrible place never bring your family here Linen seem to be a big problem here i purposely left a mark on my dads sheets and came to visit him three days later and the same sheets were on his bed. i honestly can say i was disgusted with the care “Paulette” one of the nurses was very rude and seem not to care about my concerns
